Nieuw gezicht bij HCAS
William Sutherland komt voor dit seizoen helemaal uit New Zealand naar onze club om te spelen voor H1 en te helpen bij de trainingen.
We heten hem van harte welkom en hopen dat hij een fijne tijd bij ons zal hebben.
Hieronder stelt hij zicht even voor;
Hallo HCAS. My name is William Sutherland. I am 22 years old and have come from New Zealand to play in the first men's team and to give training and spend this season at your club. I have a bachelor's degree of sport and exercise (BSpEx) from Massey University with a major in physical education and a minor in history. Back home I play for Massey University Hockey Club in the premier men's competition in Palmerston North. I have also represented the Taranaki, Manawatu, and Central Districts regions in age group and men's national competitions. My mum taught me to play when I was 4 years old and since then I have dreamed of being a professional athlete. I am proud of where the sport has taken me and am excited to be here in the Netherlands to play for HCAS and experience Dutch culture.
